Communication on the other hand is an important tool for motivation. In this case, the project manager gives the team members the chance of sharing their issues whether professional or personal. Lastly, the project manager should never compare his/her projects with other projects running in the company; however, he/she should show the members what they are contributing to the organization, since when this is done, it might not prove to be as useful as a motivator. The ability of identifying requirements and establishing achievable objectives can be said to be what makes the project manager a leader rather than just a manager.

Research also shows that culture in organizations can impact the implementations of projects. A good example is a situation where culture affects the project when organization fails to see what another organization is working on or failing to know what the next step is to be taken whenever there is change along the way. And as a result, working this way may produce major problems within the project being implemented. From Pinto’s and Pfeffer’s article, it is evident that politics and project management are two different things; however, they are inextricably linked together. Therefore, the technical managers cannot go far unless they understand how far politics might take them in their organization. Presently, most organizations are applying the issue of politics in the current situation by recognizing the conflict as a natural side effect of the project management.

Usually, the issue of ethics matters when it comes to project management. Acting as well as, behaving ethically is more important than ever in most organizations. Some ethical issues may be brought as a result of political and social dynamics both inside and outside the organizations. All these ethical issues can be dealt with only if the project managers have the ability of achieving the objectives and balancing the competing demands of the stakeholders.
