Teacher researchers in a Professional Development School setting mark out two significant trends in classical school tradition for the purpose of inquiry for teacher to develop as tools for teacher enrichment: a trend to community and a trend to uncertainty.

PDS teachers in this research talked about their requirement for combined learning communities where they might cooperate and participate in talks with peers and similar personalities.
