Requirements for the writing assignment:

1. Content: Your essay will consist of the following elements: (1) Thesis; (2) Discussion and analysis

of the questions; and (3) Conclusions. You will need to incorporate information and concepts in class and

the textbook as well as information regarding the particular representative into your essay.

2. Length: 3 to 5 pages (Times New Roman 12-point font; double-spaced; 1 inch margins – top/bottom;

left/right).

3. Citations: You are expected to use these when appropriate. You will use MLA format. When using

citations, you must provide a Works Cited page at the end of the paper. If you have questions concerning
