6. Risk Management (Sollish & Semanick, pp. x125-136)

You should be referencing the resources you have been provided in the weekly readings (as previously mentioned) as a minimum. This is a research essay, so it is expected to conduct a wider research into the topic 1B and provided references in Harvard format.

Assessment criteria is based on: Academic presentation, Understanding of key concepts related to the topic, Scholarship – evidence of further research, critical analysis of sources, Adherence to assessment task – extent to which the student has critically addressed the pertinent issues in topic 1B.

Some other key points to take note on are:

– You are free to handle the topics in the order you want – Be aware of the difficulty to follow information that is spread all over the paper – Keep theory on a topic together – This essay is about your theoretical understanding . Use research to be more elaborate about a topic. Use examples where necessary and discuss the different approaches and the pro’s and con’s – If you quote theory: describe why you quote this theory and how it applies to your topic.
