EDU 675 Change Leadership for Differentiated Education Environment

ONGOING ANALYSIS AND REFLECTION Action research has been a mystery to me until I began online schooling. It is now clear to me that action research is about focusing on a problem and implementing strategies in order to help improve upon the students learning environment. Silva, (2011) explains that “action research is a way for those who are doing research to study the effects they are practicing and to be able to use the learning cycle in order to improve upon their research.” I am all for helping those in need especially when it comes to children.

Technology is not widely used in today’s classroom, and through action research I hope to prove its benefits of regular use among students. Video Reflection I viewed the video by Silva, (2011) and although she has made some very informative and interesting points in the video I know that I must continue to use the learning cycle she displayed as a guide to make sure that I am doing what is expected of me when doing my research.

It is important for me to follow the learning cycle to make sure that I am getting all the accurate details in order to be successful when it comes to my action research outcome. It is almost like through her video I was provided with a check list of exactly what it is I need to do.
