Formative Evaluation-Interpretation In education there are many roads that are traveled to attain the educational success that is desired. There are many different avenues that become available to those that pursue them.

Today we will journey into the question of “So What? What comes next is the focus of this research to find ways that will enhance the academic skills while improving the inappropriate behavior of students in the classroom.

Improving the behavior of students that act out in class will require collaboration and the implementing of strategies that will capture their interest and work with their learning styles. The main focus is to improve inappropriate behavior in the classroom and to reduce the dropout rate with positive reinforcement; and keeping the students in school opposed to out of school suspension.

Themes The information that follows is that which was obtained from observation, portfolios, collaboration and project of student; this gave the following themes. Constructive planning Constructive planning and implementation is a theme that from observation has shown success in curtailing the inappropriate behavior of students that are assigned to ISS.

Observing student as a facilitator instead of instructing them of what they must do has given them the incentive to participate and be willing to learn.

In-school suspension programs that assist in decreasing disruptive behaviors require constructive planning and implementation (Sisco, n.d.). Giving students a choice in the decision making process encourage them to do their academic
